Kevan Jones, Member of Parliament for North Durham, will be performing the official opening of the new Stanley Primary Care Centre on Friday 26th February at 10am.

The new health centre has two GP surgeries and a minor ops unit, as well as a range of other services including dentistry, physiotherapy, podiatry and children’s services.

Mr. Jones said “I am very pleased to be officially opening this marvellous new facility that I have no doubt will provide an excellent service to the people of Stanley, and I would like to congratulate everyone involved in this project.

“The primary care centre is equipped with state of the art technology and will provide a wide range of services to meet the medical needs of my constituents. I have no doubt it will be a great success story in the ongoing efforts to revitalise and regenerate Stanley Town Centre.
