On Wednesday 5 September, Kevan took part in a debate in Westminster Hall on the funding of Fire & Rescue Services, led by Houghton and Sunderland South MP, Bridget Phillipson.
Kevan joined a number of other MPs in raising concerns about funding cuts affecting Fires Services, including Co. Durham & Darlington.
