Kevan Jones, Member of Parliament for North Durham, attended the opening of the new British Heart Foundation shop on Chester-le-Street Front Street on Thursday 26th August.

Mr Jones said: “I am very pleased to attend the opening of this new shop, which will play a vital role in raising funds for a charity that does a huge amount to support not just many of my own constituents in North Durham, but also people all over Britain.

“The British Heart Foundation does vital work both supporting those suffering the effects of heart disease and also carryout research to try and prevent it.

“I wish this new shop every success.”
