On 4 September, Kevan joined colleagues including Phil Wilson, Member of Parliament for Sedgefield, and Simon Henig, Leader of Durham County Council, at a Reception to celebrate the announcement of Hitachi’s plans to bring their manufacturing plant to Newton Aycliffe.
