Kevan Jones MP has written to the Secretary of State for Education about the lack of guidance from the Department for Education regarding school transport arrangements.
The letter was also signed by Mary Foy, MP for the City of Durham and by Grahame Morris, the MP for Easington.
The letter calls on the Secretary of State to ensure that the guidance is issued to local authorities to give them time to make arrangements for the beginning of the summer term so that all children can return to school safely after the summer.
