Kevan has written today to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care to ask the Government to take urgent action to get Personal Protective Equipment to Care Homes.

Kevan said:

“Care Home Employees and Operators are increasingly concerned about the lack of Personal Protective Equipment and this needs to be addressed – now.

“Despite Government assurances that the equipment is getting through to the front line, this is clearly not the case.

“I have written today to the Secretary of State to ask the Government to address this as a matter of urgency.

“Can I thank everyone that has contacted me to raise concerns about this very serious issue.”
