Kevan Jones, the Member of Parliament for North Durham today called for a judge-led public enquiry into the Post Office Ltd Horizon IT System.

This was during a debate in the House of Commons where Kevan challenged Paul Scully MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.

Kevan later went on to say:

“The Independent Review announced by the Government is not what is needed.

“I will continue to press for a full judge-led inquiry into this scandal and will continue to campaign on this until post-masters and post-mistresses with the full facts that they deserve.”
