On 7 March, Kevan attended the offical opening of the North Durham Academy, Stanley.
Kevan joined local Councillors, including Stanley Town Council Chairman, Alec Clegg, as HRH The Duke of York officially opened the building.
The new school campus opened in September, following a merger of Greencroft School and the Stanley School of Technology two years ago.
