The latest guidance for organisations arranging Remembrance Sunday events is available online here.

Event organisers should keep the numbers of those participating to a minimum. Social distancing must be maintained at all times.

Members of the public are legally entitled to stop and watch the event as spectators, but organisers should take reasonable steps to discourage the public from attending and be mindful of the risks that such events pose.

Kevan said:

“I am pleased that updated guidance has been published, particularly in light of the new lockdown restrictions.

It is clear that Remembrance Day is going to be very different this year, but I would encourage everyone involved to follow the guidance and the rules to keep people safe.”
