Kevan Jones, Member of Parliament for North Durham, will call in at a coffee morning at the Holyoak Communal Room in South Pelaw, being held in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

The aim of the event is to raise funds for gene therapy which could make a real difference to the quality of life of sufferers of the disease.

Mr Jones said: “Cystic Fibrosis can have a devastating impact on sufferers and their families, but the work of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust can make a real difference in improving quality of life for those with CF and in raising awareness of the condition.

“Therefore, I am very pleased to have the opportunity to attend a fundraising event in my constituency, and show my support for this very worthwhile cause.”
