On Saturday 29 November, Kevan attended a charity concert in aid of Sara’s Hope Foundation at the Salvation Army Citadel in Chester-le-Street.
The Foundation was set up in memory of Sara Hoburn who lost a battle with colon cancer, aged 16, in 2001, and aims to offer families affected by cancer, a break from hospital stays and traumatic treatment. The concert featured the Durham Miners Association Brass Band and the Salvation Army Y.P. Singing Company.
