Kevan Jones, Member of Parliament for North Durham, joined pupils of Greenland Community Primary School in South Moor at their award-winning breakfast club.
Pupils are offered a free breakfast of cereal, toast and fruit at the start of the school day, and the club has won national prizes in the Kellogg’s Breakfast Awards. Kellogg’s provide food for the club, which also offers the pupils a chance to socialise with each other before they go in to class.
