Kevan attended Catchgate Primary School in Annfield Plain to support their Mental Health Celebration Day.

Catchgate Primary School were accredited with the Wellbeing Award for Schools (WAS) in April. They are the first school in Co Durham to receive the Award, which recognises the whole school’s approach to emotional wellbeing, resilience, and positive mental health.

Today, Catchgate Primary School also became the first school in the County to sign the Time to Change Employer Pledge at the event which was also attended by Cllr Katie Corrigan, Chairman of Durham County Council; Ron Hogg, Durham Police, Crime & Victims’ Commissioner and local Councillors.
