Kevan attended Unison’s Regional Conference on Friday 2 November.
Amongst other issues, he talked about “an economy that works for you: The contribution Credit Union development can make to the North East economy”.
Kevan is a Director of North East First Credit Union, which covers the whole of the North East. Credit Unions are member-led and community-focused, and offer an alternative to high-cost or alternative lenders.
Kevan said :
“Credit Unions offer practical financial support to thousands of families across the region, and I was pleased to raise the profile of NE First at this key event.”
