Kevan spoke in the House of Commons this morning to call for urgent action from the Government to support self employed people.
Kevan said:
“The people contacting me who are self-employed are not wealthy individuals… they are taxi drivers and small catering companies. Unless action is taken now for these individuals, not just to relieve the hardship that they are facing, their businesses will no longer be in existence.
“My fear is that we are actually generating unemployment for these people for a long time to come.”
