Kevan Jones, Member of Parliament for North Durham, has welcomed the findings of an investigation by the Solicitors Regulation Authority into Thomspons Solicitors, who deducted cash from miners compensation awards as ‘administrative charges.’
Mr. Jones said, “I hope Thompsons will learn their lessons from this. They had an adequate reputation which has now been completely tarnished by activities with Durham National Union of Miners.”
