Kevan Jones has welcomed the government’s announcement that they are scrapping their plans to sell off forests across England.

Kevan received a huge number of letters and emails from constituents against these plans, and in response he said, “This is a victory for all those who took the time to contact their MPs, to sign petitions and to organise public meetings against these proposals.”

Speaking in the House of Commons on the matter, Kevan said, “I welcome the decision to pulp this policy.”
