On 18 February, Kevan, along with County Councillor Alison Batey, visited the Co. Durham Activity Day Unit, based at Ouston Community Centre.
The Unit, which is run by Gary Mitchell and John Caulfield, works with people with brain injury, including ex-service personnel. The Unit offers exercise and sporting activities, arts and crafts and access to computers. Service users also have the opportunity to take part in newspaper discussions.
