Kevan Jones, Member of Parliament for North Durham, will be attending the official opening of the new offices of If U Care Share, at Great Lumley Community Centre at 4pm tomorrow (Saturday 5 March).
If U Care Share was founded by the family of Daniel O’Hare, a young man who took his own life in 2005, to help other young people, and to prevent other families suffering a similar experience to them. The new official home for the organisation was made possible through funding from the Co-op Community Funding Board.
Mr. Jones said, “I am very pleased to attend the official opening of If U Care Share’s new home. I know that Shirley and the family have already done a lot of excellent work to try and prevent other families suffering the same tragedy as they did, and I wish them every success with their work in the future.”
