Kevan Jones MP has joined local colleagues in calling for the retention of Children’s Congenital Heart Services at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle.
As well as sending in a submission to the Consultation, Mr. Jones has also signed EDM 1847, and spoke up on the matter in the House. In his contributions, Mr. Jones, speaking from his own experience at the MOD, made the point that the decision must not be a political one, and must be made on the basis of clinical outcomes.
