Yesterday Kevan Jones, as the Shadow Armed Forces Minister, lead for the Labour Party in a debate in the House of Commons on the Trident Alternatives Review.
The Review has roundly been criticised, and has discredited the Liberal Democrats’ previous policy position: that a cheaper more credible alternative to Trident exists.
Kevan outlined Labour’s policy to maintain a continuous at sea deterrence.
