Kevan Jones has welcomed the latest performance figures from County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, which show it is exceeding its targets across a number of areas.
The Trust is exceeding its targets on combatting MRSA and C Difficile, on the treatment of cancer and on referral to treatment (RTT) times.
Kevan said “I am very pleased with the latest figures from the NHS Foundation Trust, and send my congratulations to all those who have contributed to these successes, particularly the Doctors and Nurses in our hospitals who work incredibly hard to ensure top quality care for all patients.
“While, of course, there is always room for improvement, it is testament to the hard work of everyone involved that investment in health care has produced such impressive results for patients in North Durham, and across the County.”
