Kevan Jones, Member of Parliament for North Durham has been named as one of the Photobook Winners in this year’s All-Party Parliamentary Photographic Competition, sponsored by Cannon.
MPs and Peers were asked to submit up to ten photographs each for the exhibition, and, from all the submissions, the judging panel chose a selection of the best. The winners each received a book of the best entries. Kevan’s winning photograph was taken during a visit to Papua New Guinea in February this year.
Mr. Jones said, “I was very pleased to have one of my photographs selected amongst this year’s winning entries, particularly considering the high standard of the photographs submitted this year.”
The exhibition is organised annually by Austin Mitchell M.P., the Chair of the All-Party Photography Group.
